成果与获奖

1.我校博士生导师、兼职教授刘征宇以实验室为第一单位在《science》上发表了题为《Transient Simulation of Last Deglaciation with a New Mechanism for Blling-Allerød Warming》的论文。我校程军老师也是该文作者之一。该论文在全球范围内首次使用全耦合模式对历史上最后一次冰期至间冰期转换阶段(非常显著的全球增暖阶段)进行了近于完美的瞬变数值模拟,提出了BA增暖的新机制,并定量化指出温室气体/温盐环流复苏/温盐环流过冲对BA增暖的贡献。展现了全球增暖阶段中温盐环流系统( AMOC )的演变机制及其对气候突变的巨大贡献,验证了模式(CCSM3)对气候突变的模拟能力。为进一步认知和预报人类活动导致的全球增暖背景下产生的气候变化,特别是可能的气候突变提供了基础。

2.由我实验室江志红教授、丁裕国教授、施能教授、邓自旺教授、屠其璞教授、徐海明教授、吴志伟博士七位专家主持的项目“区域气候变化诊断及其预测研究”获2009年度江苏省科技进步二等奖。该项目以气候变化诊断与短期气候预测的新方法与新技术研发为基础,研究了全球变暖背景下各区域不同尺度气候变率特征及其可能成因,揭示了东亚夏季风推进过程的多尺度变化特征及其对中国东部旱涝的影响,同时研制了与我国旱涝变率密切相关的ENSO预测统计模型,直接用于国家级气候中心的预测业务。

3.实验室吴立广教授作为带头人的“台风与中尺度气象创新团队”被评为2009年度江苏高等学校优秀科技创新团队。
