Second Announcement
In order to implement the “One Belt One Road (B&R)” initiative, deepen the communications and cooperation of meteorological science and technology with Central Asian countries, improve the capability to deal with climate change and disaster prevention and mitigation in Central Asia, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and Urumqi Regional Meteorological Center plan to hold "The 3rd International Workshop of Meteorological Science and Technology in Central Asia" in Nanjing, China on October 25-26, 2017.

5. Organizers
The workshop is co-hosted by Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and Urumqi Regional Meteorological Center and is supported by Chinese Meteorological Society. The workshop is undertaken by the Key Laboratory of Meteorological Disaster of Ministry of Education in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, International Joint Laboratory for Climate and Environmental Change and WMO Regional Training Center and is co-organized by Urumqi Institute of Desert Meteorology of China Meteorological Administration and Xinjiang Meteorological Society. Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology is responsible for the organization and implementation of the workshop, including releasing notices and reviewing papers.
6. Requirements and Guidelines for Abstract
All the abstracts should be written in English and be submitted by email (Conference Secretariat: klme@nuist.edu.cn) before the deadline. An abstract is limited to 2500 words with title, authors, institutes, abstract, and keywords included. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by experts and peers.
7. Useful Information
l The registration fee is 1,500 yuan / person (cash or credit card).
l Meals and accommodation shall be paid by the participants themselves.
l The working language of the workshop is English.
l No sensitive issues will be involved during the workshop.
